Walker I'd like to wish your mother a happy 91st birthday. She still looks like a lovely lady. My Dad turned 90 this year himself. He's not the man he once was but he has led a good life.
Walker I have to say I wish they hadn't banned you from knoxviews, and wish they would reinstate you as a poster. I actually enjoyed the tension created by your posts. If I got you riled with any of my comments I want you to know I was smiling the whole time because I knew who you were and felt you knew me but not by the name I was posting under. I was waiting for you to figure me out at some point, and wasn't being serious about anything I wrote. Hope no hard feelings resulted from this. I think I am through posting there myself, or anywhere else for that matter. Everyone is out of my league, but what do you expect from a carpenter? By the way I also wasn't serious about the DJ journalist jab, It was purely for entertainment. I have no doubt that you are an excellent journalist. You are able to convey your humor into your writing, which not many journalist are able to do, although I'm not sure everyone has quite grasped it or not. I'd also like to say I enjoyed the days when you and CP were on the radio. I still consider the two of you as the best radio duo's around.
If you are ever up at the Weigles and happen to see me, I'll buy you a cup of coffee, after you have punched me out.
